LATA is looking for a Regional Manager - Construction to lead projects in the Midland/Odessa region. This role requires close collaboration with the executive management team and support crews to ensure project schedules stay on track, work is executed effectively, and job sites operate with the highest safety standards. Maintaining exceptional quality and meeting customer expectations are top priorities. The Regional Manager will also engage with key stakeholders, including Business Development, Engineering, Construction, and Operations teams, as well as regulatory agencies, consultants, customers and contractors.
Safety / Quality
• Ensure that safety and the creation and maintenance of a safe workplace and environment is the primary consideration and first priority in the delivery of all work.
Leadership / Management
• Provide leadership to the team of superintendents, field specialists, subcontractors and other stakeholders as needed.
• Oversight of the scope to required timelines, budget and in accordance with the project specifications and standards.
• Perform employee reviews for subordinate personnel and assist in their development.
• Reviews and provide input to the project staffing plan for associated personnel.
• Plan and coordinate project design, development, implementation, schedules, and objectives.
• Reporting of project progression, milestone completion and needs
Business Development
• Seek out new business opportunities in your responsible area.
• Arrange meetings with prospective new clients.
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
Minimum Qualifications
• 10+ years of industry experience including project management, heavy equipment operation, personnel management and client relations.
• Must be willing to live in the region to have access to work sites
• High School degree
• Ability to read blueprints and specifications
• Report writing skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in field-related curriculum
