Job Title: Environmental Technician I

LATA is seeking a hardworking and safety‑focused Environmental Technician to support field operations for the In Situ Bioremediation Well Project near Amarillo, TX.

In this role, you will assist with environmental sampling, field operations, and safe use of hand and power tools in an active work environment involving construction vehicles and heavy equipment. You will work closely with site management and environmental professionals to maintain compliance, uphold safety standards, and ensure efficient day‑to‑day field activities.

• Perform field operational activities for In Situ Bioremediation Well Project
• Ability to work safely with hand and power tools
• Ability to work outdoors throughout the workday around construction vehicles and heavy equipment.
•Lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs.

• Follow written and verbal instructions.
• Maintain a safe worksite through housekeeping duties.
• Perform duties as assigned by the Site Manager.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, customer, and LATA safety procedures.

Minimum Experience Required:
• High School Diploma with 0-2 years' experience with field operations
• Working knowledge of OSHA safety standards
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work with hand tools
• Able to follow directions
• Ability to work outdoors with inclement weather

Preferred Experience:
• HAZWOPER 40 Hour Training with refreshers
• Previous experience working on regulated sites
• Hazardous Material handling work experience
